Yesterday was a damn near perfect day. The weather was amazing and I wish I had taken a picture, it was the quintessential autumn day.
I chilled with friends on a hill and watched soccer game, the buckeyes won, we ate pizza. Thankfully, I had enough free time to just relax for an hour before the pace of the day picked back up and we decided to do some exploring on campus.
Of course i should have realized that the day would eventually go sour, if it was perfect i would’ve had my camera, or a book, or something to doodle on while on that hill. If it was going to be perfect, someone would’ve walked with me all down high st. If it was going to be perfect, that room would’ve been a hallway and we would’ve traversed campus underground.
The night went straight into the shitter as soon as we played beer pong. I accidentally dropped a ball which bounced and went into a cup. Of course they said it counted as two cups and I got shit on, but we won anyways. Next game I knock over one of theirs, but we lose due to ring of death before I can actually hit a cup. The roommates cheered! I was now the designated troll, stuck under the table and forced to retrieve any stray balls. To be honest I was fine with this becasue I already, out of well, kindness, retrieved most of the balls, and it gave me an excuse to finish my beer.
Then they took my beer.
A man can get through anything as long as he has a beer.
I had no beer.
So I played along, but then they started to kick me, and kick the balls even further and chant troll troll troll.
Then they tried taking my iPod
I said fuck no, told them all to suck my cock, and went to bed.
Now I get to reevaluate if I even want these people as my friends. I’ve known them since kindergarten, and have been putting up with insults and bullshit since the fourth grade. The bullshit has finally eclipsed the good times and I have no idea it will ever catch back up.
